More Than I Imagined!

21st century woman vs. 1st century woman? We KNOW they had it easier. The microwave and computer did NOT simplify life. Nuking food, shopping on line, cleaning, children, homes, outside jobs, church. Who has time to touch the hem of Jesus, especially in the middle of rush-hour traffic? The lessons of seven women who all touched His hem in the 1st century can be applied to your 21st century spiritual walk. Whether living 2000 years ago or living in the present; whether single or married and harried with children; divorced or widowed; new wife and mother or married forever and a "silver" citizen, ALL women EVERYWHERE are the same. WOMEN first and foremost. By looking through the eyes of each woman and walking in her sandals, you will discover lessons in "hem-touching" to apply to your 21st century walk with the ONE who wants you to say, "He Is More Than I Imagined!" "More Than I Imagined" is Dr. Hilt's fourth published book in addition to seven poetry anthologies and her "Spiritual Blessing" cards with Broken Alabaster Press. With two doctorates in Christian Counseling Psychology and Education, she is board certified with the National Christian Counselors Association. Having served on the boards of Women's Aglow in Guam and Christian Women's Club in Okinawa she has taught both overseas and in the U.S. at women's seminars. Ministering overseas for 25 years she co-founded with her husband, Evangelical Christian Church, Micronesian Evangelical Mission and Evangelical Christian Academy. Returning to Sarasota, Florida in 2001, she additionally co-founded SonHaven Ministries, SonHaven Preparatory Academy, and First Light Counseling. Her daughter Tamara and her four (soon to be five) grand -"munchkins" are her greatest blessings. As always the love of her life is her husband of 38 years who encourages her to write her heart.
