House and he made them a Feast, and did bake unleavened Bread, and they did eat.

4 But before they lay down, the Men of the City, even the Men of Sodom compassed the House round, both Old and Young, all the People from every Quarter.

5 And they called unto Lot, and faid unto him, Where are the Men which came in to thee this Night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

6 And Lot went out of the Door unto them, and shut the Door after him,

26 For this Cause God gave them up unto VILE AFFECTIONS: for even their Women did change the natural Use into that which is AGAINST NA

And likewise also the Men, lea

burned in their own Lust one toward another, Men with Men, working that which is unseemly, and RECEIVING in themselves that RECOMPENSE of their Error which was meet.

Luke xvii. 28 As it was in the Days of Lor, they did eat, they drank, they bought, they fold, they planted, they builded:

29 But the same Day that Lor went out of SODOM, it rained Fire and BRIMSTONE from Heaven, and DESROYED them all:

8 Behold now, I have two Daughters which have not known Man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your Eyes: only unto these Men do nothing; for therefore came they under the Shadow of my Roof.

9 And they faid, Stand back. And they faid again, This one Fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a JUDGE: how will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed fore upon the Man, even Lot, and came near to break the Door.

10 But the Men put forth their Hand, and pulled Lot into the House to them, and shut the Door.

Ifa. iii. 9 The Shew of their Countenance doth witness against them, and they DECLARE their SIN as SODOM, they hide it not: wo unto their SOUL, for they have rewarded Evil unto themselves.

To Say ye to the RIGHTEOUS, that it shall be WELL with him: for they shall eat the Fruit of their Doings.

Ezek. xvi. 49 Behold this was the

2. Pet. iii. 7 The HEAVENS and the EARTH which are now, by the same word are kept in Store, RESERVED unto Fire, against the Day of JUDGMENT, and PERDITION of UNGODLY MEN.

8 But, be not ignorant, that one Day is with the LORD as a THOUSAND Years, and a Thousand Years as one Day.

II And they SMOTE the MEN that were at the Door of the House with BLINDNESS, both small and great : so that they wearied them- ing his PROMISE (as fome Men count

12 And the Men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any befides?

13 For we will DESTROY this PLACE: because the CRY of them is waxen great before the Face of the LORD, and the LORD hath fent us to destroy it.

14 And Lot went out', and spake unto his Sons-inlaw, which married his Daughters, and faid, Up, get ye out of this Place; for the LORD will destroy this City: but he feemed as one that mocked to his Sons-in-law.

15 And when the Morning arose, then the ANGELS hastned Lot, saying, Arife, take thy Wife, and thy two Daughters which are here; left thou be confumed in the Iniquity of the City.

16 And while he LINGRED, the Men laid hold upon his Hand, and upon the Hand of his Wife, and upon the Hand of his two Daughters: the LORD being MERCIFUL unto HIM: and they brought him forth, and fet him without the City.

17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy Life; look

9 The LORD is not SLACK concernSlackness) but is LONG-SUFFERING to us-ward, not wILLING that any should PERISH, but that all should come to REPENTANCE.

TO But the DAY of the LORD will come as a THIEF in the NIGHT; in the which the HEAVENS shall pass away with a great Noise, and the ELEMENTS shall melt with FERVENT

HEAT, the EARTH also, and the Works that are therein shall be BURNT UP. I SEEING then that all these Things shall be DISSOLVED, what manner of PERSONS ought ye to be in all holy CONVERSATION and GODLINESS,

12 Looking for, and hastning unto the COMING of the DAY of GOD, wherein the HEAVENS being on FIRE shall be DISSOLVED, and the ELEMENTS shall melt with fervent HEAT.

13 Nevertheless we, according to his PROMISE, look for NEW HEAVENS and a NEW EARTH, wherein dwelleth RIGHTEOUSNESS.

14 Wherefore, seeing that ye look for such Things, be DILIGENT, that ye might be found of him in PEACE, without Spor, and blameless.

2 Pet. ii. 4 For if God spared not the ANGELS that finned, but caft them down to HELL, and delivered them into CHAINS of DARKNESS to be reserved unto JUDGMENT;

s And SPARED not the OLD WORLD, but faved NOAH the eighth Perfon, a Preacher of Righteousness, bringing in the FLOOD upon the WORLD of the UNGODLY:

6 And TURNING the CITIES of SoDOM and GOMORRAH into ASHES, CONDEMNED them with an OVERTHROW, making them an ENSAMPLE unto THOSE that after should live UNGODLY;

7 And delivered JUST LOT, vexed with the filthy Conversation of the Wicked:

18 And Lot faid unto them, Oh not fo, my Lord.

19 Behold now, thy Servant hath found Grace in thy Sight, and thou hast MAGNIFIED thy MERCY, which thou hast shewed unto me in SAVING my LIFE: and I cannot escape to the Mountain, lest some Evil take me, and I die.

20 Behold now, this City is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh let me escape thither (is it not a little one?) and my Soul shall live.

21 And he said unto him, See I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not OVERTHROW this CITY, for the which thou hast spoken.

22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I CANNOT do any thing till thou be come thither: therefore the Name of the City was called Zoar.

23 The Sun was RISEN upon all the Earth when Lor entred into Zoar.

24 Then the LORD RAINED upon Sodom and GomorRAH BRIMSTONE and FIRE from the LORD out of HEA

25 And he overthrew those Cities, and all the Plain, and all the Inhabitants of the Cities, and that which grew upon the Ground.

26 BUT his WIFE LOOKED BACK from behind him, and she became a PILLAR of SALT.

27 And Abraham gat up early in the Morning, to the Place where he stood before the Lord.

28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the Land of the Plain, and beheld, and lo, the Smoke of the Countrey went up as the SMOKE of a FUR

NACE.

29 And it came to pass when GOD DESTROYED the Cities of the PLAIN, that GoD REMEMBRED Abraham, and SENT Lot out of the midst of the Overthrow, when He overthrew the Cities, in which Lot dwelt,

30 Nevertheless, what faith the SCRIPTURE? CAST OUT the BOND WOMAN, and her Son for the Son of the BOND-WOMAN shall not be HEIR with the Son of the FREE-WOMAN.

11 And the Thing was very grievous in Abraham's Sight, because of his Son.

12 And God faid unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy Sight, because of the Lad, and because of thy Bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath faid unto thee, hearken un to her Voice: for in Isaac shall thy Seed be CALLED.

13 And also of the Son of the Bond-woman will I make a Nation, because he is thy SEED.

14 And Abraham rose up early in the Morning, and took Bread, and a Bottle of Water, and gave it unto Hagar (putting it on her Shoulder) and the Child, and fent her away : and the departed, and wandred in the Wilderness of Beerfheba.

15 And the Water was spent in the Bottle, and she caft the Child under one of the Shrubs.

17 And God heard the Voice of the Lad: And the ANGEL of God called to Hagar out of HEAVEN, and faid unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the Voice of the Lad where he is.

18 Arife, lift up the Lad, and hold him in thine Hand: for I will make him a great Nation.

19 And Gop opened her Eyes, and she saw a Well of Water: and she went, and filled the Bottle with Water, and gave the Lad Drink.

20 And God was with the Lad, and he grew, and dwelt in the Wilderness, and became an Archer.

21 And he dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran: and his Mother took him a Wife out of the Land of Egypt.
