Coming as it does from an Irish monastery, it reflects in a special way the Celtic tradition with its earthy, popular and devotional prayers. Beautifully bound and designed, it is both prayer and inspiration.

Slim and portable. If travelling for a week it packs easily and contains the basics for the daily office. Would get rather repetitive for a longer term diet, however. ( )

I use this book nightly for my private prayers (Complline) as well as in group settings. The format gives morning and evening and night prayer for each of the seven days of a week. I found this kind of repetition helpful in developing a pattern of prayer. ( )
